Hi John:
In case of Xbase DOS handling in Windows NT, I come to learn that Windows NT creates a virtual dos machine. If this dos app tries to write on disk sector Windows NT gets angry. And eventually it stops that thread. I come to conclusion that if the xbase app group is been assigned Administrative rights. And we have to assign this shared folder "Full control access". This will reduce corruption.
I will be glad to keep you updated about my own learnings about this.
