Yes, I use ll (local logical) whenever I need a logical variable for a few lines of code. I never need it to contain a value more than 5 or 6 lines. If I need it to hold a value longer than that, I create a name for it.
I also use ln (local number), lc (local character), lo (local object), li (local interger), lv (local value) whenever I just need some kind of place holder for a few lines of code.
