>I just have to tell you a little story about how you ruined one of my clients daily routines.
>He had an old version of SBT, I believe version 6.5 and SBT manuafacturing. Every day he would get all of his orders ready and about 10 minutes to 12:00, he would start the process of completing work orders. Most of the time it was complete when he came back from lunch but sometimes he would get an extra 15 or 30 minutes of a break when it didn't complete on time.

>I upgraded them to Pro 2.5 and added TIW to do the manufacturing end. After everything was converted, the BOM's setup and so forth, we created some work orders. When lunch time came, he got ready and started to complete the work orders. He put on his coat, and cleaned up a couple papers, ready to go out and he stopped, turned to me and said "Something is wrong with your fancy new program. It must have crashed!"
>
>Sure enough, the system was not running anymore but rather than having crashed, it was done! It took a 60-90 minute job and turned it into a 2 minute job. No more excuses for long lunches!

We had a similar situation when we first introduced the Plan Module. One of test sites for it sent us an e-mail saying that it took just under 5 hours to run. We spent a couple of hours wondering just what we could have done wrong, why it was taking so long. We gave them a call to ask for some specifics of what was going on. They said they weren't complaining, that they were tickled to death with those results. Their previous process used to take them 30 DAYS to do what the Plan Module did for them in 5 hours.
It's all relative. ;)
