So, the population of Florida, New York, and California combined are greater than the total population of the remaining states? Excuse my ignorance, but I can't remember the states total populations! I'm speaking of popular vote nation-wide, not within each state and then each state has a number of votes...I understand the reasoning behind the electoral college, but I'm not sure it always works...
