>Pretty close, but that's certainly where large population centers exist. Hardly seems fair that it might take 40 or more states to overide those 3. If you were to add NJ and PA to the mix, it just might put those 5 as the majority. That's not to say they would always vote the same way of course, but what's there is there for a reason. I've seen a saying that says "The masses are asses". Whole lots of truth there.

California cannot be too bad at decision making when it comes to our voters. We did not vote for George W., and for those of us that are citizens and do vote, our votes are counted unlike some states. :)
