Check for WINZIP COMMAND LINE addon to Basic WinZip Software. More info about this addon and lot more addons are available on winzip.com site and they are free to download.

You can use winzip spanning clause through command line firing to WinZip for 1.44 size backup creation. I am sure it'll work for you.
