Keep trying what others are suggesting. I have a Compaq EVO 1.7 ghz that blows up if you use NT 4.0 as the OS. We put Windows 2000 on it and all is well.

With computers you have to consider many things such as the OS, drivers and hardware. Motherboards, and BIOS are also possible problems. I hope you solve the problem.
