Let me see if I understand your question, you want to know why when you have programmed a form to not receive focus doesn't VFP ignore that instruction and put focus in that form anyway? Is this the question?

If you have WHEN .F. it means do not accept focus adn in VFP focus will NOT be accepted under any conditions, pGUp, PgDn, mouse click, you name it.

As other have said, if you can tell us what the goal of the interface is then we could probalby assit you in achieving that goal.
