For the end-user, you should not use BROWSE. Instead, you should use a grid in a form. You have much more control over the grid.

For the developer, I sometimes use BROWSE for debugging purpuses. A simple BROWSE will assume the font and size of the active window. A BROWSE NORMAL looks much better on the screen.

You can also use DEFINE WINDOW and BROWSE using this window, but that is normally too much trouble - I repeat, for the end-user, there is no reason to use the BROWSE command.
