Thanks for the suggestion but it seems that the InstallShield support area specifically excludes Limited Edition users. There is a newsgroup but I don't see an area for VFP or for this version of the product.

I'm convinced there is something seriously wrong; no company would intentionally release a program with this many problems. It has to be something in the environment. I've disabled the firewall and virus software to no avail. I'm not trying to do anything fancy, just install an EXE and a runtime on a single OS. Even projects that worked in the prior version cause these errors in this one.
