>True, it is personal preference, but because I use OOP so much I think C# is so much easier then VB.NET. I agree w/ what Kevin said, i don't think VB will ever overcome the "toy language" image. Whether it is true or not, I hated VB because of the lack of OOP, and VB.NET at least makes a jump but still some things to be desired.
I still do see why you said VB.NET is not as good as C# and I don't even think VB.NET is easier to learn than C# even for VB programmers. I was a VB programmer and when I first looked at .NET, I started with VB.NET thinking I'll have an easier time. A few days in I realized it make no different if I learn C# or VB.NET first, since VB.NET is so different from VB other than the syntax. It's like learning a whole new language anyway, so I switch over and start writing C# code.
I agree with Alan that it is a personal preference.
