>that's what I was saying, but I just figured it out. The ASP.NET user profile had restricted access and even though I don't understand it all, I gave it admin access and it works now :). If you understand that, or know a better solution, by all means, do tell. Thanks :)

Yes the reason is file permissions. The ASP.NET account needs to have permissions to access your DLL or OCX file. Instead of adding the ASP.NET acccount to the administrators which could result in a potential security hazard, delegate file permissions to the ASP.NET account on that file. While your at it, add IUSR_ and the I?? accounts to the file also.
