Ahhh! fabrication bean counting:-) You know inventory and work orders - you would have little trouble once you begin a serious networking venture. You have to think in terms of sales cycles. Some flop right away. Some slowly fizzel away. Some may happen fast - and some happen real slow.
9 out of 10 times the thing will dead end. Look at it as 'practice marketing'. You may be in a better market than most of us.
