i think that all you can do is patch iis and get the latest updates for 2k pro and hope!!

Ok folks, here is my issue. I have a Windows 2000 Server machine running IIS 5 and West Wind's Web Connect 4.30. After the installation of IIS 5 and the configuration of the script mappings etc, the machine started acting strangely. When I go to open IIS, nothing happens. I see the mmc.exe running in the processes, but the program itself is not open. To add even more to the mix, I cannot right click and get 'Properties' on any My Computer component. Now, given enough time (from 15 minutes to 3 hours) these windows will eventually open. Weird, huh? I have formatted this machine and re-installed the OS to the same results. I have even set up a second machine running Windows 2000 Pro as a test, and have the same problem, but it only started after I installed IIS 5. Restarting the computer will correct the problem for the first run of IIS, but after I run it the first time, the problem starts again. Any suggestions?
