It does help, thanks Simon. From the earlier message I thought you had implied an increased likelihood of connections being dropped spontaneously on an WAN. This would require testing the connection before each use. That isn't too big of an issue with SPT but managing remote views could get very messy indeed.

I guess I missed Daryl's article the first time around but found it online and it did bring to mind one question: I'm using Ed Rauh's ClsEvent code to prevent running of a second instance of the app on the LAN workstations. I wonder how it will work with Citrix...
