I agree with the approach, don't like writing "wrappers" since they add another level of software to maintain, but does remove the problem from VFP. My biggest problem with VFP "opening up to OCX's" is VFP's parameter passing / data type mismatching capability ( or proclivity ? ). I too suggest going back to the original authors and seeing if they can make was should be an insignificant change to them and other users, but vital to you and other VFP folks. Don't know if my "vote" helps, but been there, and done that with other OCX's.
