As Dragan suggested, a while back I experimented with putting a container into the grid...containing two rows of controls. Was trying to get something that looked similar to Quickbooks or Quicken. I think it had possibilities, but I didn't work enough with it to get it to look good.

I'm not a big fan of grids for data entry...
