I have installed and uninstalled the VFP 8 version of ISE several times and continue to be unable to use the product for more than 90 seconds at a time without incurring an "access violation" that causes the product to close. Even clicking Help from the menu (with no project open and no other software running) causes the problem. I can't find any support for the product. Some have said "free" is worth every penny but ISE isn't free: its cost is included in the purchase of Visual FoxPro. Is it unreasonable to expect basic functionality and minimal support? Does anyone have an idea how to deal with this?
