Whatever - perhaps I'm the only one who didn't see the humor in the statement. To me, it looked like a below-the-belt shot at all developers who decide not to write their own framework.

I'm just starting to get deeper into .NET myself - I haven't purchased a commercial framework yet and won't until I get a much better understanding of the .NET framework itself. Somewhere down the road I'll decide what approach to take (i.e. purchase or roll my own). However, that's just me. For others, purchasing a commercial framework right off the bat may be the best choice for them.

It boils down to a personal preference - no one is right and no one is wrong. I have allot of respect for other developers here at UT and have absolutely no desire to make comments which may be seen ridiculing anyone for the choices they make in this regard.
