>Having been crowned (on many different boards) as the resident 'Flame Queen' I can only say that lordy your heat tolerance is set low. Ed Pikman's reply may have been a tad bit on the testy side, but I don't see how it would even qualify as a 'low-level flame'.

>What you got was the equivalent reply to walking into a Chevy dealership and (loudly) announcing that Chevy is a sucky product because you just dropped the engine from a 97 Malibu into a 75 body without changing the drivetrain, and it sure is running badly! And you came to this opinion because a bunch of GM mechanics said "Why would you want to drive a Malibu?"???

>Now, if you had come into this forum and asked "Why are my screens running so slow?" you would have had people falling over themselves trying to help you fix your problem. You did not do this however, you walked in attacking a product that many of us have used for many years (10 here) and then have the gall to stand there and look surprised when we go "Whoa.....WAIT a minute".

>But then, I prolly am waiting my (virtual) breath since you are taking your ball and going home.

No, now lets not push the boy out the door, lest he goes back to the professionals that he talked to about VFp and they start to REALLY bash VFP and the developers who use it..

Jack,
I think you need to get a little thicker skin, and also learn to word things a little more tactifully.. (take it from someone who has learned the hard way..) The folks here (with a few exceptions (MR. S.B knows what I mean) are a rather friendly kinda folk that will help you with almost any type of Foxpro developers questions.. You just have to ask them as a professional, not tell them the tool they use is garbage because you tried to do something and then couldn't get it to work...

Just my $.02 worth..
