Is there a way to persist user based preferences? I see the basic mechanism for application settings is in the app.config or web.config files, but this would typically be used as setting that all users would share.

The typical requirement is to keep things like favorite colors, windows positions, most recently used (MRU) lists, etc. for each user.

If not, is this anticipated in a future build, or should I look at extending the framework?
