Unfortunately you didn't take the man's advice either ... "fool" ... "jack*ss" ... whatever.
As far as your comment on performance problems this is a new product ... everyone knows that MS never gets it right the first time ... VFP 3.0 was a pig ... VFP 8.0 no longer is. .NET has its problems too ... but I doubt those performance problems will remain from version to version to version. They will be addressed ... in due course. I prefer to learn it now and let people know what it took for me to get there. Feel free not to participate ... really.
As far as the evangelical nature of the thread ... phoooey. You are obviously one of those people who see a flea and throw out the cat ... your glass is always half empty ... and you always see the bad instead of looking for the good (just a guess). I've seen your approach in the users of every product I've used ... short sited in my opinion ... but that is the least of your faults I'm sure.
As for your concerns about the site ... they are being addressed ... on a daily basis ... your method of criticism leaves many things to be desired ... especially in this environment ... but they are appreciated nevertheless.
No response required ... no really.
