You seem to have a haughty nature ... I do not ... I've existed in the shadow of greatness and have learned ONE THING ... I am a servant to the needs of industry ... I am a supplicant to the needs of my masters ... when they say jump ... I say how high ... when they say "shiat" ... I say what color ... I don't belittle them with their misunderstanding of software development ... I elevate them with my misunderstanding of their industry ... consider me and my existence, a butler of software development ... I am a concierge ... "What is your desire my liege".

I exist ... I learn ... I am ... more importantly ... I acquire ... KNOWLEDGE.

Way too frequently software developers, regardless of their status, do not understand their true position. I hope this post reminds them ... they are the butlers to industry.

You may well be the top butler within a host of butlers ... but never forget ... you (when you are employed by anyone) ... at most ... are a servant).

I will never forget that CVI is my master ... and I am their Information butler ... a servant ... that exists to make their lives easier.

I still believe that in humility one can achieve greatness. I will never believe that one can achieve that same end with belittlement of others.
