Josh, I stand to be corrected but ... I think I had this too when my report contained an expression which evaluated to an illegal operation, for example a divide by zero. In this case the program just quit without any message or other feedback. I have seen a similar effect when a divide by zero calculation results in an expression passed to a third party dll. Perhaps this is worth a look?
