My Hyper and Super market customers use mainly Sato(Jp) & Datecs(BG) label printers. Datecs are done with Citizen components.
I like more Sato printers. They have a few different versions for different type customers. Most powerful Sato printers allow bulk printing.
Thermal printers are more expensive, but less noisy then matrix one and a little bit faster.
