I would take the ORDER BY off the view and let the query that is hitting the view set the correct order.

>I have a reporter program that I am working on that is based on a view of SQL data that is generated when the forms opens up. What I need to do is to change the order of the view when a user wants to set a specific order. I can requerey the view with an "order by " clause but it starts to slow down the performance overall. How would I accomplish this and not sacrifice the performance of the program?
