Hi Nirav,

I hope that this will solve your problem.

Since you are using Crystal 8.5 you can use a hyperlink.
To do it follow the instruction below.

1. Select the field on your crystal report (e.g. Book Description).
2. Right click on it and select "Format Field" from the popup window.
3. On the Format Editor window select "Hyperlink" tab.
4. On the "Hyperlink" tab select "A File" option.
5. On the "Hyperlink Information" section there is a button at the right beside the file name text box with a default value of "file:///". Click that button to bring up the "Format Formula Editor".
6. On the "Format Formula Editor" window insert the link.
example : 1. "\\serverName\Documents\Filename.doc"
2. "c:\Filename.doc"
Note you can use the actual field value to substitute the hard coded one.
For example your have field with the value of the actual location of the
file. Use the field instead of the hardcoded one.

Hope this help.
