When you have armed individuals you will experience activities that are not normally expressed between human beings. Regardless of what happened we will not know the truth. Can the issue be resolved? Yes if it is desired to do so. With the attitude of the present administration of the United States relations with other nations seem to have little or no value. Thank God no one was killed! I hope that is a fact as I do not know all the details.

I have several friends who fought besides Turkish soldiers during the last 50 years on several occasions. They all said the same thing, “If you had a Turkish soldier near you, you felt protected”! The Turks are good soldiers and allies of the United States. I am sorry to see the recent problems that have arisen and hope the matters are resolved in a positive manner for all involved.

What the world needs is peace and that is my daily prayer.
