Hi,

I started to use VFP (about 1-2 weeks ago) and am experiencing slow performance while doing/using some features (ex: IntelliSense). I convinced my client to supply me with a better performing PC (today I'm using an AMD K6 II, 350 mhz with 196mb RAM) and he told me to tell him what configuration Microsoft recomends for a good VFP usage.

I got to the Visual FoxPro 8 System Requirements web page (http://msdn.microsoft.com/vfoxpro/productinfo/sysreqs.asp) and for my surprise there I could read:

Processor: PC with Pentium-class processor

Memory: 64 megabytes (MB) of RAM minimum; 128 MB or higher recommended

I already have a "PC with Pentium-class processor" and even more than the 128 MB recommended, but VFP doesn't performs ok in my PC!

Does MS believes those figures are for real or am I doing something wrong? What should be a decent configuration for good performance?
