Sadly there are enough radio talk show hosts and news commentators on news channels that will come up with a more 'softened' interpretation of his remarks so he will never have to answer, justify, or stand by his true words himself. As is usual of our Presidents in this country... What all has clinton gotten away with up til now?

>People may argue about what President Bush meant when he used the words, “Bring 'Em On”! It seems that different people take those words to mean a number of things. Some people have elected to allow the words to stand on their own meaning. Others are much more philosophical and would give paragraphs of words to what the President “really meant”. Perhaps the person who knows best what those words meant should tell the world the true meaning of “Bring ‘Em On”.

>I remember “the beginning” of the Vietnam War during the period of 1964. The noncoms and officers that were gung ho would say, “If you get killed Uncle Sam will ship you back in a $10 pine box”! By 1965 plastic body bags were used – they were cheaper than pine boxes and took up less space.
>
>Personally, I was offended at the Presidents words. I would hate to have to write the letter to the parents of any Unites States Service Person killed. With these words of, “Bring 'Em On”!, I feel he is taunting the enemy and daring others to kill our troops.
>
>In Vietnam we did not know who the enemy was. It is difficult to know what is in the head of another person. Who knows what any man, woman or child may think or do when an army of a foreign nation occupies your country?
>
>The words “Bring 'Em On”! seem callus and inappropriate. Perhaps that is the best the President can do to express himself. He leaves it to us and others to define what he really means.
