We are talking about updateable views, Aleksey, in which case modifying the view cursor should be not different than modifying the base table - think about that...

I don't expect VFP help to be perfect, I just asked you to point me to the part that I was missing - your answer did not help with that.

The most disappointing part is your assumption that that it is still not clear for me how it works and I should try it. Obviously, not only I tried it, I posted a repro code for you. Yes, RECALL works with updateable views, but incorrectly.
In regard to me being reasonable... I can’t accept that the current behavior is not a bug, but I can accept that it is not going to be changed – if you don’t understand the problem, how could you solve it?
