I thought the speed problem was limited to FP/Win. We have a FP/DOS 2.6 app
that runs fine on all kinds of hardware including 166 & higher Pentiums.
On the other hand, if I remember right, there was a problem running FP/DOS
2.0 under Windows because of incompatibilities in the memory manager. I
don't remember what the symptoms of the problem were. If the app is being
run under Windows, the original poster didn't say either way, that might be
the problem. If this is the case, he just needs to move up to FP/DOS 2.6
and doesn't have to rewrite.
