Set the buffering to Row, create your indexes, then set the buffering to table buffering again.

I often do this in the form INIT.

Hope this helps, J

>Thanks Cetin. But unfortunately I can't use an index because the view recordsource that we have used in the grid have a table bufferring. View with table buffering does not allow to create an index. There is an error when we create an index to the view with table bufferring. My application requirements is to resort the record in the grid by clicking on the column header. Example if the users click on the Customer # column header the record will sorted by customer #. If the user click on the Customer Address column header the record should be sort by Customer Address. This requirement can be done through index. But we also update the data on grid that's why we used table bufferring because this application is shared with different users.
