I am having a problem where VFP has altered the order in which files appear in file lookup dialog windows (Windows 98SE).

The default used to show the files sortd by name in ascending sequence. Now the sort order is defaulting to "last modified". Every time I want to look up a file in "name" sequence, I have to manually change the order. This is driving me nuts.

This has affected other Windows programs as well. Some program's lookup windows have retained the name sequence, while others have adopted the last modified as a default. I can't seem to find the controlling configuration setting for this.

Any ideas?
