Thanks all for you thoughts. I'll check those conferences out.
The price of the conferences (with the exception of perhaps DevTeach) is not that different than the .Net training sessions offered by some of the training companies. Any thoughts as to whether one might be better off just taking an intensive training session? The downside, of course, is that you only get on perspective, and the focus is on a single topic.

www.devteach.com) which has .NET, SQL Server, and VFP tracks. They're inexpensive, and they have a good mix of speakers. They haven't announced dates for next year yet, but it looks like they will!
