Just a little word about this general thread. You were misunderstood because of the tone of your original message. Well guess what, tone is not well communicated in this medium. No one can see your face or any gestures you might make. If you were taken wrong then say that and forget the details of the responses you originally got.

Many of the respondants here have english as a second language and the subtilities don't always come across clearly. Ed is a really nice guy as I am sure you are also. Ed can be a great resource to you if you continue to use VFP.

I would suggest that both you and Ed start over again. Drop the past messages and figure they were misunderstanding each other. You were taken to be bad mouthing VFP and the poeple who use it, obviously, now, a misunderstanding. Ed reacted to that. So did I. I discarded my first reply to you and rewrote it :-)

Let's put the misunderstanding behind us and get on with the solutions to your problems.
