I ASSUME that you're using VFP8.
If so, have a look at the SET TABLEVALIDATE command of VFP8. Also, a search on "TABLEVALIDATE" hee should give you a few ideas to work with.
But I'm also interested in the circumstances that produced this error. I would appreciate it if you would answer the following and provide any other information that you may feel is relevant:
1) Are TRANSACTIONs involved?
2) Did it occur on an INSERT or APPEND or on some other command?
3) What OS/SP was the app. running under when it happened?
4) What OS/SP is the file server running?
5) have users ever complained in the past of lost or missing information?
6) What version of VFP did you migrate the application from?
