Hi Simon,
I don't know what KB article you're referencing but I doubt that C code that most likely uses WIN API calls may get outdated.
For VFP reports it's easy to change paper source. You can open report table before printing and change value of
DEFAULTSOURCE=n printer option in EXPR field.
