I have a text box for a user to enter an area code and phone number. I only want the user to enter the numbers, not any dashes or other characters. I have applied a DataFormat to the box in the form of (###) ###-####. When the user gets to this box, it is blank. If they enter only the 10 digits and tab to the next field, everything works fine, but, they can enter the dashes if they want (i.e. xxx-xxx-xxxx).

How can I SHOW the "( ) - " so the user see's it and wont input it?
