Hi,

This is a general question.

Suppose I have a data entry screen. I'm implementing shortcuts for the ADD,DELETE,SEARCH,EXIT.. buttons. I can do it by adding a list to the system menu and the user hitting 'CTRL-A' to add, 'CTRL-D' to delete etc, or I can add hot keys (use the ON KEY LABEL command), let's say F3 to add, F4 to delete, etc.

What have been your experiences using both? What do users seem more receptive to?

Thanks.
