SQL Too Complex message

Hi All,

I usually use the View Designer to make my views. However, it doesn't have the UNION clause in it. So, I create a view MyViewWithUnionClause programatically which uses the UNION clause. Opening it in View Designer gives the message "SQL Too complex". The view works fine though.

Two questions:

1. Is the view 'safe' to use considering it was 'too complex' for the view designer?

2. How can I programatically define the data type of the view parameter? We can do so in the View Designer.

Thanks in advance

Dennis
