Maybe someone with actual legal knowledge and contractural experience in Canada will jump in. As far as I know, locally in my state, since no contract is signed and you have performed work and submitted invoices for that work at a specific price, they only are required to pay based on the invoice. Even if a contract did exist for a different price and you submitted an invoice at a lower price, they would only be required to pay based on the invoice. They could argue the price on the invoice if it exceeded the contractural price though. I'd seek legal advice on this one. I think you are stuck for your existing invoices. If your invoices do not reference any contract or project though and the contract does get approved and signed by all, any invoices you submit AFTER THAT should reference the new contract and reflect the correct price.
