>No can do. When you specify a DE class to use for a form, you can not add anything to the DE while in the Form Designer. You have to add/modify/etc., the DE in the class designer. Then whatever changes you make there will show up the next time you open up the DE in the form designer. I have already had this discussion with some on the VFP Dev Team in a previous thread here or on a MS Newsgroup.

The problem isn't with the form designer, it's with the class designer. We cannot figure out a way to simply add a VFP table/cursor to a DE class in the class designer without copying/pasting an existing cursor and modifying it, or creating a cursor adapter object that points to the native table.

I would think that one could work with the DE as in the class designer similarly as when you are working with it in the form designer, no?
