If the exclamation point was the problem, wouldn't it also cause this error to occur on my own PC? I can run this code from the command window on my PC with no problems:

MD "C:\TEST!\HELLO"

This is about what the DefaultPath is supposed to return. I've tried the application on a few other PCs with Extra! with no problems. I'm coming to the conclusion that there is something about this user's PC that wasn't set up properly (Probably EXTRA!).
