Since the Title of your question included "Zipping", I would check out DynaZIP at http://www.innermedia.com/ -- this allows lots of interface choices including OCX control. Users would have to have some unzipping mechanism, of course, to use the ZIP file (unless your app would be doing the unzipping as well). A more expensive product is Active Delivery (same company), which lets you build scripted self-extracting archives.
