I am using asp.net, c# and Forms Authentication mode for the security.
I am confuse as to when the AuthenticateRequest event will occur.


If I issue the line below, will the AuthenticateRequest occur?

FormsAuthentication.SetAuthCookie(this.email.Text,this.RememberCheckbox.Checked);
