What do they teach you about Functions and Procedures? Functions return a value and Procedures do not! That has even appeared in some FoxPro books over the years. In reality we know that in VFP Functions and Procedures can return values. This should "settle the answer about the true difference”. In VFP, almost anything goes! :)
