I use Eudora for MAPI and it changes the directory if it is not running at the time I use MAPI commands. This is only the first time it executes; if Eudora is running when I use MAPI, then everything is OK. So the easiest way to correct this is what Cetin says, save and restore the default directory before and after calling MAPI.
