Coming from a VFP background I'm having a little trouble conceptually getting started in C sharp.
I would like to create small programs like the ones shown in many beginner books but am not quite sure how to do so in the VS. NET IDE. i.e. do you need to create a new project for each little hello world sized program to test it?
I am using MM .NET to get a handle on the big picture but I'd like to be able to play with simple things in C# sharp just to get some fluency in the language.
Looking for something simpler as an IDE I downloaded Antechinus C# Editor which I assumed was an editor that would then compile and run the code, but when I run the setup I simply get an OK dialog and then ....? Nothing on menu, no icon - how does one run this thing.
Feeling a little silly that I can't get past these very basic concept, but of course starting from complete scratch is a lot of fun too. < g > Guidance appreciated.

Though a good deal is too strange to be believed, nothing is too strange to have happened.
- Thomas Hardy
Half the harm that is done in this world is due to people who want to feel important. They don't mean to do harm-- but the harm does not interest them. Or they do not see it, or they justify it because they are absorbed in the endless struggle to think well of themselves.
-- T. S. Eliot
Democracy is two wolves and a sheep voting on what to have for lunch.
Liberty is a well-armed sheep contesting the vote.
