in this day and age i would say that ms will give you the upgrade with no problems. as far as i know server comes with 2 licenses for TS, this is what i was told by a company that runs a server for one of our customers, so i don't know if this means that you have to specify that you want more TS licenses when getting the upgrade
Cheers

Hi all,

I'm faced with a question and I could not find the answer on Microsoft site.

For development I'm using TS to be able to show customers the stage of developement. I'm using the administrative install to use one of the two available TS sessions. Now my colleages begin to use the TS to develop and test the application I'm writing as well. I'm aware now I should be looking for upgrading my license on this.

Now I complete lost track here. I want to be able to have arround 5 TS sessions at the same time where both developers and testers can use TS sessions. We do have a second W2K server licence so that should be fine. However, I'm still faced with the following questions.

1. Can I upgrade the MSDN W2K server for this purpose?
2. What exactly do I need to upgrade TS ?
3. What other issues come into play ?

Now I know I should ask this question on the MS site, but I was wondering If someone else could give me some insights.

Walter,
Life is what you make it.
Go raibh maith agat

~M
